 Ideally situated. Pleasant, very helpful staff. Clean & spacious room.  Plaa Catalunya, Las Ramblas, Metro, all within minutes walk from the Hotel.

 1) There were only 3 english speaking TV channels and all were for news programmes (no films etc)2) Tea making facility in room should be free of charge...as we have found everywhere else

This hotel was fully refurbished in 2006 and comprises 5 floors with a total of 44 rooms, including double rooms, single rooms, double rooms for single occupancy, Comfort suites, rooms featuring terraces, three-bed rooms, disability-friendly rooms and connecting rooms especially for families. This air-conditioned establishment offers guests a 24-hour reception with a hotel safe and lift access. The hotel has its own bar, café, TV lounge and air-conditioned restaurant. Furthermore, it features a conference room, Internet access, and room and laundry services as well as car parking facilities (charges apply).

Emplacement

This hotel is located in the commercial and historical centre of the city. It lies in a quiet side street close to Plaza Cataluña, Paseo de Gracia and the famous Ramblas. Countless shopping and entertainment venues as well as a stop on the public transport network are to be found only a few paces away. Further sights of interest to tourists located close by the hotel are the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Centre for Contemporary Culture, the cathedral, the Mercat de la Boqueria, the Gothic quarter and the L'Eixample quarter as well as the Feria de Barcelona exhibition grounds and the most important cinemas and theatres. The beach is around 1 km away. El Prat airport lies around 12 km from the hotel.

From Barcelona airport (El Prat) guests have various routes to choose from when travelling to the hotel. A train leaves every 30 minutes from Terminal A for the city centre. The journey takes around 20 minutes. The nearest stop to the hotel is Plaza Cataluña. Moreover, the A1 bus, also known as the Aerobus, links the airport with the city centre. The bus leaves every quarter of an hour and reaches the centre in around 35 minutes. Guests should get off at the Plaza Universidad stop. It is also possible to take one of Barcelona's many yellow and black taxis. This option will take around 30 minutes and the journey costs around 30 euros. Guests arriving from Gerona-Costa Brava airport should take the bus to Estación del Norte in Barcelona. From there they should either take a taxi or go by underground (line 1) to Plaza Universidad. The nearest stops to the hotel are Plaza Universidad - which visitors may reach with the red L1 or the purple L6 - and Plaza Cataluña which is accessed via the green L3 or the red L1.
