 staff ok spoke good english although not over friendly except checkin.breakfast was very good quality and plentyfull good choice.room could be descibed as different nice if you like black and purple.location could not be better for city centre, although the taxi driver couldn't find it and no big hotel sign.

 Very good location, staff friendly. Well placed for Metro stations x 2. Plenty room for family.

Emplacement

This hotel is located in the main commercial and business areas, directly in the centre of Barcelona, opposite the Hotel Ritz and in a parallel street to Paseo de Gracia. It is the ideal base for business travellers or tourists and is situated very close to Cataluña Square, Barrio Gótico and Las Ramblas. Sants train station is around 3 km away, along with Sants bus station. The metro station Urquinaona Square on the L1 line is around 500 m from the door. In addition, Barcelona airport is some 19 km away.

The hotel is located on the corner of Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 662, just in front of the Hotel Ritz. By metro: on the L1 (red) line, get off at \"Plaza Urquinaona\"; on the L4 (yellow) line, get off at \"Paseo de Gracia\" station; on the L2 (violet) line, get off at \"Paseo de Gracia\" station. By bus: \"Calle Roger de Lluria- Calle Bruc\" stop on bus numbers 7, 50, 54, 56,62 and B21.
