I chose the hotel due to the price advertised on the easyjet hotels site. A 5 star hotel, it could not be faulted and we were a party of 4 adults and 2 children who were given adjoining rooms, which were perfect for our needs. Also the children know how to behave themselves in such surroundings so we did not have any issues there.Although catering for the expensed business traveller, we ate at a moderate price using the pool bar/cafes. The restaurants were beyond our means and not really meant for the simple means of the children.As for getting into the city, there were ample taxis available at the hotel and a word with the concierge meant that two taxis were synchronised in their journeys into whichever point in Barcelona we decided to end up at. Which in itself was good fun !! Taxi fare each way no more than 15 euros. There was an metro station close ('ish) by but the taxi option worked out well, especially with the children.The two outdoor pools were extremely good, the indoor pool a little fussy and heavily chlorinated, so gave that one a miss.Altogether, a good experience.

We had a wonderful stay. The location was great with easy access to the metro, shopping, and the soccer (football) stadium. Our view was outstanding and the staff were very accommodating. We would have preferred the internet and bathing caps to be included in the room price. We booked breakfast with our package and would reccommend this for others as it was very good, but would otherwise have been quite pricey.
 

The hotel consists of 16 floors (one of which is for business guests) and 432 rooms, of which 395 are doubles as well as 37 suites and a 25,000 m² private garden and terrace. Amongst the hotel facilities count a foyer with 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange desk, a cloakroom and panorama lifts. Further facilities include a bar, restaurants, a total of 14 conference rooms- which can be separated into 21 modules, and various shops. Internet access is also available for a fee as well as room and laundry services. Those arriving by car are able to park in the car park or garage.

  This majestic, stunning city and conference hotel is located close to a park and not far from a beautiful, romantic garden dating back to the middle of the 19th century. Barcelona's main artery, the Diagonale, is within easy reach of the hotel as well as new and up and coming commercial areas of the city. From the hotel, guests are offered a wonderful view of the sea and the city.

By car/taxi: Leaving the airport take the B-17, towards Barcelona and continue a further 5 km, follow the signs for the B-20, Ronda de Dalt (blue). Once on the B-20, drive until exit 11 (Les Corts - Zona Universitaria) and leave the motorway here. Drive 200 m along the right-hand lane of the Diagonal Avenue and take the second turning on the right to get to the hotel. (Travel time: around 15 minutes). By train/metro: the railway station is located right next to the airport. Take the train to the main station of the city called Sants Estació. When arriving there take the metro line number 3 (green line) and get out at Zona Universitaria (2 minutes walking distance from the hotel). (Travel time: around 40 minutes). By Aerobus: the aerobus is a shuttle bus service that links Barcelona airport to the most important places of the city centre. It's possible to catch the aerobus from directly in front of the airport (in all 3 terminals). For going to the hotel, alight at Plaça Espanya (first stop). Take the metro line 3 (green line) and get out at Zona Universitaria (2 minutes walking distance from the hotel). (Travel time: around 40 minutes).
