We were both really happy with the over all hotel would gladly recommend this to others and come and stay at this hotel if we are in the area next time was very close to train and city. Thanks for a lovely stay and helping out when ever possibleKind Regards Queenie and Saul Faulkner

Im glad this comment/evaluation was sent as my partner and I were very disappointed with our stay at serchotel. Firstly the website says that it is 25km from the airport. We got a taxi there as there was no other means of transport out there and our taxi receipt states that is is in actual fact 36km from the airport. Most notably was the lack of amenities. We had planned a weeks stay in Barcelona and decided that we didnt mind staying outside of the city in order to have the facility of an out door pool, my partner requires it for physiotherapy. When we enquired after it we were directed to what I could only call a large bath on the roof top with no water in it! We complained to the gentleman on reception who just kept on repeating that there was a pool at the hotel. But as you can imagine that is of no use to its guests if it is not completed. They offered to send us to another facilites 20 minutes away. We accepted this as we didn't want to seem unreasonable. On arrival I was horrified to realise that they had sent us to a giant lesisure centre and expected us to pay another 8euros each for using a facility that had been promised to us as part of the hotel package. Could you please look into this for us as I have used hotelopia several times before and this is the first time I have encountered a problem. If they had offered us something by was of compensation we would have been satisfied but they clearly were unwiling to help a guest that was simply passing trade.Kind RegardsMyra Hayes75 Carlinford RoadDrumcondraDublin 900353 87 6797294

Location was difficult to find, even taxi drivers found it hard to locate.

This hotel is located in Montcada i Reixac near El Punt shopping mall and surrounded by Barcelona's main business and industrial areas. It is only 50 m from the Montcada-Ripollet train station and has easy access to Bellaterra's University Campus, the Parque Tecnológico del Vallés and Montmelo's circuit. It is only 14 km to Barcelona and Barcelona Airport is only 25 km away

Guests arriving by car should take motorway B20 for approximately 12 km to Girona-Terrassa-Manresa, and continue by motorway to Barcelona Montmeló. Then, take the C58 until exit 5 (Cernayola del Vallés-Ripollet-Montcada) and continue towards Ripollet. Take Calle Pau Casals for some 311 m and turn right into Calle Wagner. Continue for around 77 m and then turn right again into Calle Vardi and drive for 53 m.
