perfect location hotel facilities poor as in bar and restaurant/snacks , bedroom window faulty pointed this out on arrival staff member checked this out but wasnt really interested nothing was done about it, still faulty when we left, would use hotel again because of location only

Suizo definately needs a refurb, and the staff some customer service training. Faults with room were: cracked tiles in bathroom, very poor overbath shower with fluctuating water temperatures, large damp stain on ceiling, balcony doors pulled out of the wall when you tried to close them, provided with minibar key but told it probably wouldn't work (it didn't), no remote control for TV. Stayed here a couple of years ago when it seemed ok for a budget hotel. We were only there for one night and it was only £40 so as at least it was clean it didn't spoil our stay. But I certainly will not be recommending it to anyone.

Built in 1886 and completely renovated in 1981, the city hotel offers a total of 59 rooms spread over 5 floors of which 53 are doubles and 1 is a junior suite. This hotel is to be found in the gothic quarter at the heart of Barcelona, close to the cathedral and the Picasso Museum.
