I had to change rooms at 1am because of plumbing problems in the bathroom. The hotel was very noisy which wasn't helped by the lack of carpet throughout and the lack of soundproofing between rooms and neighbouring bathrooms. Cleaning and hoovering seemed to go on all day from fairly early and there was a workman drilling one morning. The phones didn't work in either of our rooms and the internet was down for all four days of our stay. The male receptionists were very cold, unwelcoming and unhelpful. I have been to Barcelona more than a dozen times Plaza de Catalunya, La Rambla, Passeig de Graia, el Corte Ingles department store, short walk to the gothi quarter. All sorts of transport onverge on the Plaza de Catalunya.

Overall service was mediocre, and no access to basic ammenities such as in-room refrigerator / bar and no ice in the hotel.Definetly not worth the 3 stars they gave themselves.Thanks
