The hotel looked and felt like a prison. It is huge but appears to have no guests. It is decorated in a mixture of totally OTT grandeur, lino and plastic flowers. The sounds of the motorway and aircraft keep you awake all night.It is very handy for Bilbao airport and that is about as much as can be said for it. We paid far more for our night there than for genuine comfort and luxury in Pamplona.

Built in 1920 and renovated in 2004, this 5-floor hotel comprises 76 rooms of which 2 are suites and 4 are apartments. Guests may make use of the foyer with 24-hour reception desk, safe, a currency exchange facility and a lift. Guests are offered a café, a bar, a kiosk, a TV room and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant. Furthermore, there is a conference room and a public Internet terminal to be used within the hotel. Laundry services and medical assistance round off the facilities on offer. Those arriving by car may make use of the car park or garage facilities.
