This is an affordable way to stay right in the centre of Madrid, ideal for students or those on low budgets. My room was simple, but clean and comfortable. The doors make a lot of noise, and people come and go all night... so bring earplugs! I had to search a bit to find a working shower. Also, be aware that you may be staying in a different building to the one where you check in, so be prepared to drag your belongings between buildings. Having said that, one can hardly complain given the excellent price.

Good location for the city centre. Unfriendly staff. It is a great loation for shopping and eating out, theatre, inema and lubs.

Hotel description

This is a no-frills guesthouse, which is still very functional and cosy. It is ideal for groups, as it is especially aimed at university students during their studies. The building is relatively modern and very clean, in the accommodation units as well as the shared areas. It comprises a total of 90 units and offers an entrance hall with 24-hour reception, lift access, a café, a games room, a TV room, a restaurant, Internet access/WLAN and a launderette.

Emplacement

This guesthouse is situated on the best square in Spain, in the heart of Madrid, a short walk from shopping centres, theatres, cinemas and historical monuments. The Palacio Real, Madrid de los Austrias, the Catedral de la Almudena and the Templo de Debod can all be found within a 10-minute walk of the guesthouse. Madrid Airport is approximately 10 km away.

It is extremely well connected by bus and metro. Bus lines 1, 2, 39, 46, 74, 75, 133, 148 and circular. Metro lines 2, 3, 5, 6, 10. Suburban train at Principe Pio.
