1.The drycleaning was not available at weekends! 2.Breakfast was not available on site, so I did not try roomservice! The proximity of the shops, supermarkets and restaurants compensated for it though.3.Very very noisy:the corridor has no carpet. I could hear every footstep from customers. I could also hear cleaners walkie talkie and trolley along with customer conversations. If it was less noisy I could recommand it for business travel. I was very tired from previous longhaul trips and late business work. I did not find my stay in the hotel restful at all but my first impression of the room's space and decoration was excellent. Its location is very good and convenient though. Because of the noise and the lack of services (espacially at weekends) I could not recommend this hotel for customers in the business category! As for groups...they might appreciate beiing able to have their breakfast on site although the other hotel offering it was not that far! Very nice staff !

  This hotel is situated in the Barrio de Palacio, in the centre of Madrid. It is less than 5 minutes away from many major attractions and cultural venues, such as the Royal Palace, the Opera Theatre, the Senate house, Plaza de Callao, Preciados Street, Puerta del Sol, Plaza de España, the Gran Vía and the Plaza Mayor. There are also many shopping opportunities not far away. The areas surrounding Madrid also feature beautiful natural areas, including the mountains to the north and the city itself, as well as various historic locations such as El Escorial or Alcalá de Henares.

From the airport by car (N-II): From the M-40, head towards the main roads N-III and N-IV (Andalucía y Valencia). Follow the by-pass towards Vicalvaro-O'Donnel. At the roundabout, follow the signs towards O'Donnel until Alcalá street. Continue along Alcalá street until arriving at the Gran Vía. Upon arriving near to the Gran Vía nº 66 cinema, turn right and drive in the opposite direction in order to cross the Gran Vía and then turn into Leganitos street. By metro (35 minutes): 1. Line 8 (towards Nuevos Ministerios). 2. Line 10 (towards Puerta del Sur) until Plaza España. By taxi: From the airport it is a 35-minute journey, depending on traffic.

The hotel does not have its own parking facilities, but there is a public car park a few metres away which guests can use.
