I enjoyed my stay - the location was perfect for me, accessible to the city and yet on the way to the airport. My two complaints: 1) the lock on the balcony door was broken at the bottom and could not be locked correctly. (2) earlier breakfast, say from 0700, would be preferred: I had to leave the hotel for the airport at 0730 so I missed my breakfast!
 

The hotel was originally student halls and around 1900 became the home a famous Spanish author. It is an ideal choice for business and tourist guests. Over the 5 floors the hotel offers 32 suites, of which 20 are suite-lounges, 10 are junior suites and 2 are business suites. The hotel's facilities include a 24-hour reception service, a safe, a snug bar as well as a café and an air-conditioned restaurant. There is an elegant conference room with enough space for up to 20 people. Room and laundry services may also be taken advantage of by guests, as well as the Internet terminal. Those arriving by car may make use of the car park or garage

  This attractive, luxury hotel is fabulously located in the financial, diplomatic, shopping and culture centre of Madrid, only minutes away from the Paseo de la Castellana. The hotel offers ideal access to the N-2 motorway. This hotel is located between the Molina Street, Serrano and Claudio Coello.

The tastefully designed sir-conditioned rooms are all named after one of the streets in the neighbourhood of Salamanca.
