 Location was perfect for a shortbreak within minutes of the main attractions. Very little street noise. Rooms ready for us when we arrived early, comfortable and both bedroom and bathroom very spacious. Breakfast was good, except that the British like tea from a pot - a cup of hot water teabag isn't hot enough. Reception staff were excellent. In the restaurant the staff were not active in offering the cooked menu and seemed to be otherwise engaged, although service was quick once you had got their attention. It was a shame the door to the stairs to the rooftop pool was locked (presumably because it was winter), so we weren't able to take in the view, but we didn't pursue it as we were busy doing other things. This newly built hotel comprises 2 renovated buildings with original 19th century façades and a new building that together form a unique hotel complex. There are a total of 103 rooms available to guests of which 5 are junior suites. Facilities within the air-conditioned complex include a bar and a restaurant with a lift to the street as well as 6 conference rooms (capacity of up to 200 persons) and a business centre. In addition, there is a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange facility, lifts, a café, room and laundry services and garage parking to take advantage of.
