This city hotel is reminiscent of old-style peasant cottages. On offer are a total 33 rooms, spread over 3 floors. The hotel features a lobby area, a safe and a currency exchange facility. In addition to this the hotel has its own celebrated speciality restaurant, a bar, 9 banquet and conference rooms for up to 600 people and a concert hall with a capacity of 800 people. As well as room service the hotel offers a laundry service for a small fee, public Internet access and a garage. The hotel also possesses its own car parking facilities.

Emplacement

The hotel is situated on the idyllic centre of Muttenz, which has managed to preserve its rural character. The St. Jacob football stadium is in the immediate vicinity, as are various restaurants and bars and connections to the public transport network. The train station Muttenz SBB is approximately 2 km away. Basel, with its various shopping and leisure amenities is less than 20 minutes away by car.

If arriving by car, guests should take the A3 motorway to Pratteln and follow the main road to Muttenz. The hotel is approximately 200 m after the roundabout. If arriving by train or bus take the train to Basel Hauptbahnhof and from there take a tram to Aeschen Platz. From there take tramline 14 to Muttenz Dorf. From the tram stop it is around 200 m to the hotel.

The fully renovated rooms each come with an en suite bath/ shower, a hairdryer, a make-up mirror, a direct dial telephone, a radio, a satellite/ cable television, Internet access and voicemail. A minibar, a double or king-size bed, a safe and central heating also come as standard.

The reception desk is staffed until 11:00 pm (9:00 pm on Sundays). Please inform the hotel if you are due to arrive after this time.
