Geneva is the capital of the canton of Geneva, in Switzerland. It is one of the top three cities in the world in terms of quality of life, together with Vancouver and Vienna. The city is crossed by the river Rhone and is on the banks of Lake Geneva. The area is bordered by France, and houses the headquarters of several international organisations.
It has a very picturesque landscape, as it is surrounded by mountains. Its old town Vieille Ville, is very well preserved.
