 very good location, room no view (and a bit dark), but I guess you expect that from a central hotel. Room generally well maintained, and cleaned daily.

 Friendly staff, value for money, conveniently placed for tourist sites and tram and ferries. Situated on busy street but this did not detract from the holiday

Emplacement

This hotel is located in the heart of the historical part of town. Sirkeci, with its links to the public transport network, is only a 5-minute walk away and the hotel is 8 minutes' walk from the tourism centre at Sultanahmet, where guests will find restaurants and shops. The Hagia Sophia, the Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque and the Spice Market are all only 10 minutes away from the hotel on foot. Istanbul's Ataturk Airport is only 21 km away.

From the Ataturk airport, take the airport bus shuttle (the Havas bus) or tramway-metro to Aksaray. From there take another tram to Gülhane. Follow the directions below once you get off the tram. From Sabiha Gocken airport, you can also take the shuttle bus to Taksim. From Taksim, you can take a taxi to the hotel or take the metro to Kabatas and then tram to go to Gulhane.
