 In general, my stay at the Habtoor was extremely positive. I was staying on a 5 nights for 4 inc breakfast rate. My only criticism is, the check in staff did not make it clear that if I ate Breakfast in my room I would be charged the full amount for the breakfast plus the tray charge. I am a seasoned traveller and have never come across a 'bed and breakfast rate' which only applies if the breakfast is eaten in the main restaurant. As a lone female traveller, taking breakfast alone in the main dining room can be a daunting experience and I would rather pay the tray charge to eat in my room. Therefore, the check in staff at the habtoor should make this clear at check in. Otherwise - fantastic hotel for what would have been a fantastic price (without the extra breakfast charges).

Established in 2005, this air-conditioned hotel comprises a total of 442 rooms and suites. With its 14 themed bars and restaurants, dining is a delightful experience with something for all tastes. The selection ranges from Asian cuisine in Mun Chi to Italian dishes at Luciano's. Guests may also take advantage of the conference facilities and their generous and modern equipment. In addition, the hotel offers a safe, a currency exchange facility, lift access, a café, a hairdresser, a nightclub, a W-LAN access point, room and laundry services, a kids club where younger guests may let off steam, and parking for those arriving by car.

This hotel is located on Jumeirah beach, adjacent to Dubai Marina. Guests will find the business centres of Jebel Ali, Dubai Internet City, and Media City in the near vicinity of the hotel, which also offers easy access to the Dubai World Trade Centre exhibition halls and the Jebel Ali free trade zone. Guests will reach Dubai's international airport in approximately 25 minutes.

The transfer time to Dubai International Airport is around 25 minutes, to Dubai City approximately 15 minutes.
