 Allocated a smoking room which we did not request and could not be changed. Bathroom decor was tired and the shower was feeble.  Botani Gardens are lovely.

 Check in was very smooth and the hotel was clean. The Ulster breakfast was delicious. We were on the top floor so well away from the noisy bar on the ground floor. Lovely Molton Brown products!  We were put in a "designated smoking room" despite not requesting a smoking room. The window in the room could not be opened and there was no air con. With two of us in there it was very stuffy and there was still a slight cigarette smell perceptible by non smokers. The shower had very little pressure.  We were in Belfast for a wedding, so didn't explore the surrounding area muh. That said, the hotel is in an area full of young people out in the evening for a good time. Great if that's what you are after, not so great if you were after the more tranquil feel suggested by their website.

 room not made up on 13th was not happy about that as staff did not seem too rushed. staff used fire escapes for smoking so smoke drifted back into hotel. otherwise good location, not sure if the main business is hotel or pub.

Renovated in 2003, this city hotel comprises a total of 17 double room spread over 3 floors. Guests may make use of the foyer with a 24-hour reception desk. An air-conditioned à la carte restaurant and a conference room are also to be found within the hotel. Room and laundry services can be taken advantage of.
