 This hotel is way behind the other fourstar hotels in the city, its clean but basic just like a travelodge not fourstar and the staff are not that helpful when i complained about there being a spring sticking out of my mattress that stuck in my backside they just wrote matress and my room number down for the maintenance staff no apology or concern i stayed at the europa last month for £10 more and it is worth it

 The reason for the 3 for the room was due to the smell of cigarette smoke in the room, we didn't make a complaint as we realise that some rooms are still smoking rooms. We should have asked for a no smoking room. Everything else was great, and the staff we wonderful, very friendly and helpful.We really enjoyed our stay.Kind regardsColette

 The hotel in itself was nice but I think the rooms need to be updated as the paintwork was quite grubby and the furniture/carpets looked quite old but the bathroom and bedding were both clean.
