 Excellent city centre location. Spacious rooms traditional design Great breakfast buffet Helpful staff  Some of furniture and baths need upgrading  Everything!

 Interesting building, sympathetically renovated with very helpful staff  Some memers of our group were in single rooms which I felt were a high price.They paid the same for a single room with breakfast as we did for a twin room with a breakfas each.  Amazingly lose to everything

 Fantastic location, very spacious room. Breakfast food and atmosphere excellent. Beautiful looking restaurant. Classical style.  Evrything! All's available in B'ham ity entre.

This 5-storey hotel is housed in a building that dates back to 1881 and underwent renovation work in 2003. It comprises a total of 112 rooms including 5 suites and facilities include an inviting, air-conditioned foyer with a welcoming 24-hour reception desk, a currency exchange bureau and a cloakroom in addition to a lift, a stylish bar and a restaurant with highchairs for infants in which traditional English as well as international dishes are on offer. A public Internet terminal may be taken advantage of, as can the room and laundry services.

Emplacement

This comfortable city hotel is located at the heart of Birmingham within metres of the lively city centre and just walking distance of many of the top sights including the Bullring Shopping Centre, the world-famous Symphony Hall and the National Sealife Centre. It is just 500 m to a selection of bars and pubs whilst links to the public transport network can easily be reached on foot lying just 50 m away. Birmingham airport is 16 km away.

Exit rail station on Birmingham new st up the escalators, turn left and follow 50 metres, then turn right and then left by the Perfume shop, walk until you see the ramp. Al the bottom turn left, over the crossing, staying on the left. Walk past Waterstones Book store until finding Oasis clothes shop, turn left into the Burlington Arcade and the hotel is just ahead. Driving from National exhibition centre and Birmingham international airport, take sign for A45, go over several islands, take A45 Coventry road towards City centre.
