This is the only hotel in Blackpool that is situated between the sea and the promenade, offering uninterrupted views out across the Irish Sea. Originally built at the beginning of the 19th Century, the 209-room hotel was fully refurbished in 2007, returning it to its former glory. Facilities and services include live nightly entertainment shows featuring professional entertainers sporting some quite stunning costumes. There is also a 24-hour reception and check-in/check-out service, lift access, a café, bar, restaurant, conference facilities and a car park.

The hotel's immediate vicinity features restaurants, bars, pubs and nightlife spots, as well as shops and public transport links. Attractions such as the winter gardens (1 km), Blackpool Zoo (3 km) and Blackpool Pleasure Beach (6 km) are also nearby. Blackpool Airport is just 5 km from the beach hotel, Manchester Airport is some 94 km away, whilst John Lennon Airport is just over 100 km from the hotel.

By road: Exit the M55 at Junction 4. Take the 3rd exit from the roundabout onto the A583, Preston New Road, for 4 km. Continue onto B5390, Park Road, for 1.6 km. Turn left onto B5263, Read Avenue. Bear right onto the A5099, Central Drive, then turn left onto the A5099, New Bonny Street. Turn right onto the Promenade. The hotel is on the left after 800 m.
