 only blight on a pleasent stay was the noise from the pub next door

The property offers 3 floors with a total of 67 rooms and facilities include a spacious foyer with lifts, hire safes, a cloakroom and a 24-hour reception desk. In addition, there is a cosy bar and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with highchairs for infants on offer to guests. Business guests may take advantage of the various conference rooms within the hotel as well as the public Internet terminal and room and laundry services as well as medical assistance are on offer. Parking facilities are to be found outside the hotel.

This attractive hotel is located at the heart of the historical centre of Chester and it is just a short walk from many shopping and entertainment venues. Manchester and Liverpool are 30 minutes drive away.

From the M53, take J12 and follow signs for City Centre A56. Stay on A56 for 5 miles until large roundabout. Take 3rd exit. At next roundabout take 1st exit following sign for City Centre Hotels and Eastgate St. In Northgate St, enter the pedestrian area (you will be allowed access through the barrier if you have a room booked at the hotel), follow the oneway system down St Werburgh St, left into Eastgate St and right into St Johns St. Hotel is on the left.
