 The room to be clean the breakfast being good, but Your Company Easy.jet from The receipt, is Wrong, there is not a date when does but. Regret but for 2 Night 3day sending again department entrusting gives the receipt which includes the date of duration when stays and thanks (Thank you for my booking - Edinburgh Dunstane House Hotel (12 09 2008- 14 09 2008).

 there was some mix up over the type of room booked and available though efforts made rapidly to sort it out but a bit complicated getting refund from two sources

This city centre hotel is a fine Grade B listed building built in 1852 and renovated in 2007 with original fireplaces, wood panelling, stained glass windows and spectacular ornate cornices. It offers first class facilities, where guests can enjoy a country-style ambience in the heart of the city of Edinburgh. All 16 bedrooms have been individually decorated to a high standard, while the large traditional public rooms are popular for civil weddings, meetings and private dining. There is free wireless broadband Internet access throughout the hotel. Facilities include a hotel safe, cloakroom, bar, restaurant, TV lounge, and conference room. Room and laundry service is available, as is private parking.

Emplacement

Traditional hotel in the leafy West End of Edinburgh, a few minutes from Princes Street and the city centre. It is also convenient for Murrayfield Stadium and Edinburgh Airport, making it one of the favourite city centre hotels for visitors to Edinburgh. The hotel benefits from its elevated position which gives fine views of the Pentland Hills, which lie a short drive away. The mature garden at the front of the house is a natural suntrap and a pleasant place to sit and unwind. The bus stop for all the city's amenities is located right outside the hotel front door.

From Edinburgh and Lothians Tourist Information Centre, go west along Princes Street. Continue along Shandwick Place and go around the one-way system. Go past Haymarket railway station and keep walking for about 5 minutes and the hotel is located on the right-hand side. Catch a number 26, 12 or 31 bus on Princes Street to the hotel. From Waverley Station follow Princes Street going west towards the airport/Glasgow/A8 road. After Princes Street the street name changes to Shandwick Place and you go around a one-way system, leading onto Haymarket Terrace then onto West Coates. Catch a number 26 or 31 bus on Princes Street to here. From Edinburgh Airport, follow A8 road passing Edinburgh Zoo towards city centre. West Coates is situated between Murrayfield stadium and Haymarket railway station. The hotel is on the left-hand side of the road coming in and opposite a church.
