Fort William is the biggest town in Scotland?s Highlands.
Originally established in the still-extant village of Inverlochy, the town is on the southern end of the Great Glen, on the shores of Loch Linnhe and Loch Eil. It is close to Ben Nevis, the highest mountain on Great Isles, and Glen Nevis.
Fort William is the capital of the district of Lochaber. It has many tourist attractions, lots of accommodation and good shopping areas.
