The hotel need a bit of TLC specially the rooms that they allocate for hotelopia or other Internet sites.The boiler broke down so no hot water, they recommended guess to use the spa facilities but no hot water either.You get more for your money in other hotels.

the room was newly refurbished to a high standard, although some of the floors didnt look to have been updated yet. All the staff were very helpful especially the enthusiastic bar staff and welcoming night door man.

I would definitely plan to stay in The Thistle Hotel when planning another trip to Glasgow. The hotel was ideally located and our stay couldnt have been better.

Hotel description

This popular hotel offers a total of 300 rooms spread over 8 floors, including Executive Rooms. Facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a currency exchange desk, a lift, bar and a restaurant. There are 18 conference rooms, the largest of which has a capacity of up to 1,500 people. This Grand Ballroom is laid out theatre-style. For an additional fee, guests can make use of the room and laundry service as well as Internet access. For a small charge, guests arriving by car can also use the car park with 250 parking spaces.
