I was very impressed with the "house cleaning" staff. They were very polite and upon my request provided additional coffee bags, biscuits, etc. I was also impressed that the hotel provided complimentary bottled water, biscuits, etc. In the US, where I live, hotels charge for such items. My only disappointment was lunch at the restaurant, where the "wild mushrooms" dish had a lot of sand in it, which grit against my teeth with every bite. But the wait staff showed superb customer service, inquiring if I would like something different (I did not). Thank you for a good stay.

It is just a 5-minute walk from the waterfront where the Albert Dock complex and Liverpool ACC can be found. Liverpool Lime Street train station is some 500 m from the hotel, whilst Liverpool John Lennon Airport is only 15 km away.

The hotel is a short distance from the Strand (A5036) which links Liverpool to motorways, tunnels and other routes to and from the city. From the Strand, turn into James Street, continue into Lord Street then take the 1st left into North John Street. The hotel is on the right-hand side.
