 i was delighted by the quality of the hotel. i enjoyed my stay.Breakfast service was particularly professional and friendly. Food was hugely enjoyable. For the price i paid it was altogether brilliant.

 Room was not available on arrival, we had to wait almost an hour (we arrived at 5.30pm) which meant we missed our 6.30pm appointment. Also they moved us to a suite as they didnt have a suitable room and I was told that the bed would be made up by the time I went to bed, at the end of our conference (3am) I went to bed and the bed still wasn't made so I had to sleep on a sofa with no coverings. I did advise the hotel staff but they didnt really do anything about it.
 

Hotel description

The hotel was renovated in 2001 on 10 floors. It has a total of 152 rooms with a total of 37 singles, 50 doubles and 1 suite. There is a pleasant lobby with lifts, safes, a currency exchange desk and a 24-hour reception. Additional amenities include a café and an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with separate non-smoking area. There are also conference rooms available as well as WLAN Internet access and room and laundry service.

Emplacement

This comfortable hotel is located close to the city centre and is just a 10-minute drive (about 3 km) from the airport. Woburn Abbey and a safari park are both 20 km away. The train station is also within easy reach, just 30 minutes from the hotel. London is 50 km from the hotel.

Exit M1 at J10 and turn onto Spur Rd J10A. At the 1st roundabout take the 2nd exit towards the Airport, pass Capability Green at the next two roundabouts turn left passing Vauxhall sports centre on your left hand side. Go straight over the next two roundabouts bringing you into Windmill rd. At the big roundabout, go straight into St Mary's rd (church on your left). At the traffic lights go straight up to the mini roundabout. Turn left into Guilford st and proceed to the traffic lights, go straight over and approximately 90 metres on your left is a blind entrance into the Library NCP Car Park. Drive up the ramp and will see the hotel on your right hand side. Parking is available on any level and the hotel entrance is located through the 2nd floor exit.
