 The shuttle bus service to and from the airport is good. The breakfast was very good.  There was no spare blanket in the room and I was cold. When I rang reception asking them to bring me up another blanket (as I was already in bed) they said that they did not do room service (though they did bring up a blanket on my insistence). The kettle did not work in my room. This was disappointing to not be able to make a cup of tea after a long and exhausting flight from Malaysia. A staff member boiled me a kettle in another room as they were unable to give me a replacement kettle.

 Friendly helpful receptionist, clean and spacious room  food expensive for what it was, bed felt "cheap" (too light and spingy).  N A

 As I suffer from a bad back the most important thing I look for in a hotel and whether I would return is the quality of the bed/mattress. Unfortunately the bed was too soft. and so I did not really get a good night's sleep which I would have appreciated as I was going to a funeral the next day.

The hotel features a bar/lounge with plasma TV showing all the latest news and sporting events. Facilities available include 24-hour reception and check-out, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, lift access, a café, a restaurant and car parking facilities on site (not gauranteed). In addition to this there are 6 air-conditioned meeting rooms all with natural daylight, which are ideal for small meetings, interviews or training sessions.

Emplacement

The hotel is situated less than 1.6 km from Stansted Airport, adjacent to the mid-stay car park and less than 5 minutes from the M11 motorway.

By Car: From the M25 exit at Junction 27 sign posted M11 Stansted Airport. Exit M11 at Junction 8a sign posted Stansted Airport. Follow signs for the Terminal. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit. The hotel is situated on the right hand side.

 Observations
A shuttle bus operates Monday to Sunday to and from the airport. There is no cost for the shuttle bus from the airport (bay 6 at the bus station) and only a small charge per person for the ticket to the airport. (Subject to change).
