 Really nice. Far better than the 3* marking. One slight issue. Thebathroom whilst really very nice - the shower control was not easy to get constant temperature and appears "old" purely because so many hotels appear to have more modern controlled showers.Overall - very, very nice and I hope to get back for a weekend break with the wife.

Emplacement

This family-friendly hotel is located in the sleepy village of Iffley, known for its Norman church dating back to the 12th century. The imposing white house, set in mature gardens, is the ideal location in which to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Oxford's dreamy spires form the backdrop to the hotel's tranquil setting near the Thames River. Nearby attractions include the Oxford Playhouse (2.4 km away), the Cotswolds (24 km away), and Blenheim Palace and Cotswold Wildlife Park (both 32 km away). London Heathrow Airport is 64 km from the hotel.

From the South take Junction 8 from the M40 onto the A40 for Oxford and follow the A40 as far as the Headington roundabout. Take the 1st exit, signposted towards Cowley. Follow the dual carriageway until reaching the Littlemore roundabout. Here turn right at the 3rd exit, signposted for Rosehill and Iffley, and follow the road down the hill. Round a corner to the left on reaching the traffic lights and take the 1st road on the left. Once in Iffley, go straight ahead at the mini roundabout onto Church Way. The hotel is on the left. From the North take Junction 9 from the M40 and follow A34 to Hinksey Hill Interchange signposted for Oxford and Cowley. Keep following the signs for Cowley until reaching the Littlemore roundabout, then turn left at the 1st exit signposted for Rosehill and Iffley. Follow the instructions above from here.
