we have stayed here on and off for the last 10 years. Prefer the old hilton, but a great location, bar on the beach, jet skis. Just a great place to stay!!!! Check in to late, and check out much to early. Maids knocking on your door from 6.30. Shops, jet ski, live musi on the beah, the pier, fishing

Lobby and grounds well maintained, excellent food and service in restaurants, lovely pool area, convenient beach and pool bars with good service, fantastic location! The air conditioning was broken in our room when we arrived (although we only noticed when we tried to sleep on the first night). The next morning hotel staff promptly arrived to fix it (although this took more than 3 hours, during which we were offered no alternative accommodation other than to be seated in the lobby! Furthermore, I found the 2 girls on the front desk to be unhelpful and unsympathetic towards our plight). Eventually we were assured it was all fixed only to discover the following night that the air conditioning unit was doing much the same as the night before (i.e. still blowing out HOT air because it was STILL iced up). After another complaint in the morning we were offered a free breakfast and told that upon our departure the room would be made 'out of order' not quite sure that this made up for 2 sleepless nights!!! Beah is lovely!!!

Nice hotel that trades on its beach location. Handy for Tampa and Busch Gardens. Dont limit yourself to the hotel beach there are other nice beaches down the road and further to the South. Redenton beach is about an hour to the South and well worth the .trip
